Tent Installer

We are seeking an energetic, friendly, flexible, motivated person who has experience in working in and around tent and event/party rental equipment. Must be able to take initiative and be self-motivated. Below is a list of expected job duties and skills/qualifications needed for this position.

Job Description

  • To erect and take down tents and to do preventative maintenance on equipment, as well as be able to safely load and unload equipment into all types of vehicles and trailers, and instruct customers on how to use the equipment safely and properly

Special Events Operations Manager

Duties

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for rental needs for all assigned events
  • Manage all aspects of rental delivery, set up and tear down for upscale client events
  • On-site management of set-up crew and primary liaison to client on site
  • Manage crew members, and serve as key interface with other unit team members, internal account team members, and external clients maximizing productivity and delivering high quality service
  • Ensure critical deadlines and budgetary guidelines are adhered to and response expectations and quality standards are met
  • Manage crisis situations effectively. Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt to changing procedures or processes and assist in teaching crew
  • Develop and nurture good relationships with clients and outsider suppliers to enhance service, manage expectations, and respond to client feedback in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements

  • CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) preferred
  • 5+ years relevant practical experience in special event management
  • Demonstrated ability as team leader, team member, and ability to work independently to best serve client
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills especially in crisis situations
  • Project Management experience to include meeting deadlines on time and on budget
  • PC experience with Windows operating system and a variety of software programs (Microsoft Office) CAD a plus
  • Spanish communications skills a plus

This position oversees the day-to-day operations of a high paced and thriving business. Must be able to take initiative and be self-motivated. Below is a list of expected job duties and skills/qualifications needed for this position.

Job Purpose

  • Serves customers by providing well maintained rental items; educating others on how to do preventative maintenance

Duties

  • Maintains all store equipment in new like shape, so both the customer and the store benefit from the performance of the equipment
  • Educating others why we do certain preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Planning, monitoring and appraising each piece of equipment
  • Identifying current and future needs that may arise with each piece of equipment
  • Ensures availability that the equipment (item) will be up and running in a timely manner
